Logo Embroidery: Everything You Need to Know!
at Birdy design, embroidery is our thang.

Our custom embroidery service makes it incredibly easy to get your logo or design embroidered. 

Work with me the embroidery bird to turn your logo into branded clothing for you and your whole team! We will work with you every step of the way to ensure you wear cohesive styles and designs that are representative of your brand.

Things to know:

  • There is no minimum quantity for ordering. Order 1 or 100, we can service both.
  • There is a flat, once-off set up fee of $35 for your logo to be digitised and saved on file with us. This makes it incredibly easy to order more branded clothing whenever you need - set up is free for future orders with the same design.

Placing your order:

  • With no minimum quantity, it is easy to order a sample of custom embroidery before ordering a large quantity. 
  • Reach out to us via email for a personalised quote. Make sure to include the products, the quantities, your design as a file, and general requirements for the products. 
  • We will respond within two business days with either a quote, or follow-up queries to finalise your design. 
  • Once your order has been placed, it will be shipped from our East Albury Nest within a week.

Where can birdy ship to?
Birdy ships with AusPost to Australia, and internationally. Shipping costs will apply at checkout.

How long will it take to receive my order?
All orders will be sent out within 5 business days, and the time it takes to deliver will depend where you are in the world. But you'll receive tracking in your email when it's sent, so you'll never have to worry about not knowing where it is!

 

I paid for express, but it's taking longer than I thought to be shipped out.
Paying for 'express' means that Auspost will deliver your package quicker after we have shipped it out. Paying for express delivery does not mean the production time for your jumper will change - we will still make your order within 5 business days!

Can I pick up my order?
Yeah you can if you live near Albury/Wodonga. Birdy’s nest is right in the heart of East Albury.

 

I've received a faulty item, what do I do?
We deeply apologise for the inconvenience of receiving a faulty item. If you have received an incorrect or faulty item, please contact us at hello@birdydesign.com.au with your order number and pictures of the wrong/faulty item.

Whats this mark around my embroidery?
A normal part of the embroidery process, hoop marks may be present around the embroidery design. The garment is not damaged - these marks disappear after the first wash, or with a damp cloth.

I'm not happy with the embroidery, what do I do?
Birdy will do her best to accomodate every custom order. Communication is key to avoid the end product from being different to what you had in mind. Please be clear and specific in the order notes, or email us asap if you are worried about your order.

What is your returns policy?
Returns are only eligible for faulty or incorrect products, and must be returned within 14 days. Returns are not eligible for any custom items, as they are made to order for you and cannot be resold.

How do I figure out my sizing?
Sizing charts are available on every product listing. Please confirm your sizing before purchasing, as no exchanges or refunds can be made on custom products due to sizing decisions.

Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes we do, most often for orders of minimum 15 items! lets set up a time to chat, email me at hello@birdydesign.com.au and we can go from there.

How does the logo set up work?

We offer a one time fee of $35 to set up your logo for embroidery. From then on, it's saved in our system forever. This fee is only charged once and it means you can come back and order more items, whenever you want!

Its not a logo, it’s just text or emojis, do I need to pay a logo set up fee?
Text usually does not require a set up fee, as it is easy enough to recreate with my fancy machine. 

Is there Logo Limits?
Yes. With embroidery, there are limits to what we can and can't do. This is due to several things such as size, materials, thread options etc.

Do you have a max size for the set up fee?
A max of 15cms width. If you are wanting larger than this, please email hello@birdydesign.com.au and we can organise an added cost to your order. Every logo is different. Therefore, there are some that will be perfect for embroidery and some that may not be. What we like to do is work with our customers to see if we can come up with something that will 100% work across all garments that we have available. I am a graphic design so i can work some magic trust me! If your logo has a base background colour, we will need to adapt your logo. The reason behind this is that most materials wont hold a full background stitch out with design on top of it. The material buckles and the lifespan of the embroidery decreases. Hence why we will always opt out of this. We want you to be able to have your pieces forever. If your logo is super detailed, has more than 4 colours involved, we may be able to adapt it or we will recommend to print this. Sometimes the more detail/fine lines with embroidery, just doesn't work out. but don’t worry ill discuss option with you. i can always offer DTG (direct to garment) printing.
